Ames

Alliant Energy provides gas services to customers in Ames.

The City of Ames provides water, sewer, and electrical services to customers in Ames.

Cable and internet service providers in Ames include; Mediacom, Metro Net and Dish Network.  Please contact DPM if you want to install a Dish.  DPM does not permit for holes to be drilled into their properties to affix the dish and/or run new cable runs.  Tenant will be held responsible for any damage to the property caused by utility providers they hire without approval of DPM.

Trash collection is privatized in Ames, there are numerous vendors to choose from.  Walters is the company we recommend.

Clive, Des Moines and Urbandale

The respective cities provides water, sewer and trash services.  Contact your landlord to see if these services are provided in the rent or if it is a responsibility of the tenant.
